Ghost Kits is designed to be as easy for users as possible. Turn your kit on and follow your device's cloud workflow setup. When it is time to connect your device to Wi-Fi, you will see your Ghost Kit's network name appear, and that's it! Ghost Kits will automatically connect you to the strongest, most reliable cellular network to create a strong and stable wireless network for your production or project. If your current network drops out, Ghost Kits will dynamically switch to the next strongest available network from over 600 networks without interrupting your connection. You don't have to do anything! We do all the work for you.

Can I use the hotspot on my phone?

Yes, of course! If you are able to successfully use your phone in all locations as a hotspot, then that is a great workflow option. However we have found that your phone isn’t the strongest router option and depending on your cellular service and location, your connectivity might drop out, which is where Ghost Kits comes in. Ghost Kits is able to connect to over 600 carriers throughout the world, and we dynamically switch your networks so that you stay connected no matter where you are.

Does my camera have cloud capabilities?

Several cameras and devices now have cloud workflows built in. Check out our compatibility page (https://www.ghostkits.com/compatibility)to see a list of all devices successfully tested with Ghost Kits. We suggest checking with the manufacturer to see if your model has cloud workflow capabilities. If your device does have a Wi-Fi cloud workflow and you do not see it listed on our compatibility page, please send us an email (mailto:info@ghostkits.com)and we will make sure to add it to our list for testing!

How much does Ghost Kits cost?

Ghost Kits retail at $849, and we currently accept pre-orders for an end-of-the-year delivery! Users will purchase cellular data packages through our portal. As we continue testing on our road to market launch, the bucket sizes of data available to consumers are still being determined as we collect data and understand customer needs.
